Fiber processing technologies

NYFORS develops advanced and innovative products used for fiber pre- and post-processing in high-strength and specialty splicing operations. During our more than thirty years in business we have accumulated technical knowledge covering all aspects of these fields, with expertise in optical fiber stripping, cleaving, splicing, shaping, recoating and proof testing, as well as production system automation.

Besides developing and producing a broad portfolio of products, NYFORS also undertakes custom engineering projects. These projects range from automatic systems for high volume optical fiber gyroscope manufacturing to solutions within specialty fiber splicing, encompassing all the steps within fiber processing. We have development facilities and a state-of-the-art optical fiber laboratory in Stockholm, Sweden, from where we support customers and partners all around the world.
