Description
The ProofTester™ is a compact and lightweight instrument ideal for testing the strength of optical fibers up to 30 N. The ProofTester™ is developed to meet all types of applications where a strength test has to be performed.
The ProofTester™ is designed with the user in mind. The fiber is easily placed in the guided linear clamps, and the testing starts automatically with a “One Touch” go button.
The built-in microprocessor controls all the important parameters such as pulling force, pulling speed and hold time. This allows for a completely controlled test every time.
The ProofTester™ can be connected to an external PC, which enables access to all programmable parameters and settings. The ProofTester™ is adapted to stand-alone use or to the integration into different subsystems.
The ProofTester™ has an extensive capability of logging and saving information such as pulling force, pulling speed and fiber diameter and other parameters.
